Championing Social Care welcomes Compass Associates as new Patron Funder

March 18, 2026

Championing Social Care is delighted to welcome Compass Associates as its newest Patron funder. Patrons provide vital core funding that enables us to deliver a growing number of programmes celebrating and supporting the social care sector and its people.

Compass Associates is a multi‑award‑winning specialist recruitment consultancy dedicated to the independent health, social care and children’s services sectors. Their work spans Elderly Care, Specialist Services—including adult social care, mental health, and complex care—and General Healthcare. With teams operating across the UK, they support providers by matching high‑quality talent to essential roles, completing more than 1,000 placements each year in care‑focused organisations. Their long-standing commitment to strengthening the sector makes them a natural partner for Championing Social Care.

Vishal Shah, Chair of Championing Social Care, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Compass Associates as a Patron funder. Their deep involvement across the social care landscape and their commitment to championing the workforce make them an ideal supporter. Championing Social Care is a volunteer-led organisation that thrives on the support of organisations across the sector. We are growing our number of Patrons and we are growing our impact too – we started 2026 with two brand new programmes that support the sector and we have big plans for the rest of the year. Patron funders like Compass provide essential core funding that allows us to expand our programmes and further celebrate the outstanding people who deliver care across the country.”

Championing Social Care exists to shine a positive light on the social care sector. We started 2026 by launching a new Care Masterclass programme that aims to support the next generation of sector leaders. In March, the national care careers conference – Who Cares Wins! – was held at the Kia Oval cricket stadium. Plans for the rest of the year include Care Home Open Week (15th – 21st June); Care Sector’s Got Talent (October) and the Care Sector Christmas Lunch (10th December)
