With the conclusion of another quarter this means another End of Quarter celebration is upon us. This event saw us head to Southsea Castle to host our summer party. 

At the end of each quarter, CRS likes to reward employees for all of their hard work and successes by treating everyone to an evening or day out. Our summer End of Quarter, to mark the end of Q1, saw us host a party at Southsea Castle in Portsmouth.

An afternoon of food and games in the sunshine

The day started with drinks and canapes on arrival at Southsea Castle. We couldn’t have asked for better weather as it was warm and sunny with a light sea breeze. A roof top open bar supplied everyone with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day.

We also had the opportunity to play outdoor games such as mini golf, giant Jenga, rope and hoops and giant Connect 4. There was also a game of rounders played on the green outside the castle which saw many participate in the fun. The magician, Maximillian was also there to provide his phenomenal magic tricks to everyone once again.

Mid-afternoon was followed by a delicious hog roast, along with a variety of other options to accommodate everyone’s dietary requirements.

An evening of live music and dancing

As the evening drew in, a photobooth was introduced that saw a lot of people enjoy taking photos with friends, along with various types of pizza for an evening snack. A live band performed two sets along with a DJ in between and to end the night with. This saw lots of people dancing and having a fantastic time.

Overall, we had another successful End of Quarter event!

Why do we host End of Quarter events

Compass End of Quarters are a great way for us to gather all teams together from all Compass brands to interact with each other outside of the work environment. Both of our Manchester and London offices also came to join the Portsmouth office for this day of fun to celebrate all of Q1’s success!
