Compass Recruitment Solutions (CRS) is proud to share that two of its senior leaders have been named finalists in the Consultant category of the HealthInvestor Power List 2026. They are Non-Executive Chair Henry Elphick and Adam Carter, Senior Partner at Compass Carter Osborne.

The HealthInvestor Power List celebrates the most effective, inspiring and influential people working across UK health and social care, including the investors and advisers behind the sector’s growth. Only 13 finalists were named in the Consultant category, so we’re incredibly proud to have two people from the Compass group on the shortlist. The winners will be revealed on 3 December 2026 at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.

Meet our finalists

Henry Elphick has chaired the CRS board since 2021. He is one of the most respected voices in healthcare investment. Henry founded the European Healthcare Investor Association and is its Deputy Chair, and he is a former Chief Executive of LaingBuisson. In September he joined Oliver Wyman as a Partner in its Healthcare & Life Sciences and Private Capital practices, and he appears on the shortlist under that firm. Henry has spent more than 30 years across law, investment banking, strategy consulting and healthcare investing. That experience has helped CRS grow into a global house of healthcare and life sciences recruitment brands.

Adam Carter is Senior Partner at Compass Carter Osborne (CCO), the group’s executive search and advisory brand for investor-backed healthcare and life sciences. Adam joined the group in 2024, when CRS acquired Carter Schwartz and combined it with Compass Executives to form CCO. This is his second year in a row as a Power List finalist.

Why this recognition matters

Recognition from HealthInvestor for this year’s Power List means a great deal to us. It comes from the investors, operators and advisers we partner with every day across independent health and social care, specialist education and life sciences. Having two finalists shows the depth of sector knowledge across our brands, from board-level governance to executive search and recruitment. It also shows the trust our clients place in our people.

The news follows a landmark year for the group. In June, CRS was named Recruitment and Executive Search Firm of the Year at the HealthInvestor Awards 2026. That award recognised our record of placing the right people in key roles across the sector. We’re proud to be judged an award-winning recruitment partner to the industry, by the industry.
