CCO’s TB100 2026 marks its biggest year yet

Compass Recruitment Solutions were delighted to support Compass Carter Osborne’s annual cycling event, TB100, on Thursday 10th September 2026.

Clients, candidates, and consultants came together for a day of cycling and fundraising, with more than 80 riders registered. It was the biggest TB100 yet, with riders setting out from Hanbury Manor Hotel in Hertfordshire. Historically, participants could only choose from a 100km or 100-mile route, however for the first time ever in 2026, the team introduced an all new 50km route alongside the established distances – making the event more accessible than ever.

Since its launch in 2017, TB100 has become a fixture in the sector’s events calendar. Previous editions have taken riders through the Cotswolds in 2017, the New Forest in 2018, Surrey to Battle in 2019 and the Chilterns in 2023. Following the hillier challenges of Surrey in 2024 and Kent in 2025, TB100 2026 was a breath of fresh air, taking a kinder approach through the Hertfordshire countryside whilst adding yet another beautiful location to the list.

Each route was guided by our experienced event partner, PIE, with road teams and medically trained support in place throughout the day. Behind the scenes, our volunteer team looked after riders from the first arrivals on Wednesday evening, welcoming riders, driving support cars, managing the routes, running the raffle during dinner and keeping the event on schedule.

For the fourth year running, TB100 supported Spread a Smile, a UK children’s charity that brings joy and laughter to seriously ill children in NHS hospitals and hospices across the country. Through in-person and virtual visits, its entertainers, from magicians and musicians to artists, fairies and therapy dogs, help young patients and their families cope with the pain and anxiety of serious illness and hospitalisation. Thanks to the generosity of riders, sponsors and supporters, TB100 2026 raised a final total of £12,265, with fundraising now closed. Our thanks go to everyone who rode, volunteered, sponsored or donated.
