Compass Recruitment Solutions’ Group Managing Director, Sam Leighton-Smith, has been nominated as a member of the prestigious HealthInvestor Power 50, within the “Sector Specialist” category, at this years’ 2022 ceremony.
The Power 50 is considered to be one of the most prestigious events of the year within the independent health, care and education sector – recognising the most influential figures, valuable advisors, and outstanding leaders in the industry. Categories include, “Leading investor”, “Capital provider”, “Deal maker”, “Outstanding leader”, “Sector specialist”, “ESG Champion”, and “One to watch”.
Given the acknowledgement associated with the event, CRS is absolutely thrilled for Sam to be a “Sector specialist” finalist, where nominees had to demonstrate deep sector knowledge, acted in an advisory capacity to the sector, and shown themselves to be indispensable as a source of strategic advice in 2022.
Non-Executive Chair, Henry Elphick, said:
“Sam has helped build Compass Recruitment Solutions over the last twelve years into a leading search and recruitment firm in health and social care. I am delighted he has been recognised by his peers and nominated for the HealthInvestor Power 50 as one of the most effective, inspiring and influential leaders in the sector.”
Sam is considered to be one of the most well-networked, knowledgeable and respected leadership advisors for the private equity backed and independent health, care and education sectors, and is frequently trusted to build leadership teams owing to his outstanding track record of delivery.
The latest recognition is in addition to CRS executive search brand, Compass Executives, being awarded Search firm of the year at the 2022 HealthInvestor Awards, and the marketing function winning In-house recruitment marketing team of the year at the Recruitment Marketing Awards 2022 – more information about both successes can be found here.
The event is taking place on Friday 9th December, where the winners of each category will be announced.
