Compass Recruitment Solutions Named a UK Best Workplace in Consulting & Professional Services

August 3, 2026

We are delighted to share that Compass Recruitment Solutions has been awarded a further recognition by Great Place to Work®. CRS and our brands have been named among the UK’s Best Workplaces™ in Consulting & Professional Services, with the list appearing in the Best Workplaces magazine distributed within The Guardian newspaper next month.

This builds on our first-ever Great Place to Work® Certification earlier this year, and it means a great deal to see that recognition translate into a place on a sector-specific Best Workplaces™ list. Where our Certification reflected the honest feedback of our own people, this latest accolade places that feedback in context, showing how the culture we have built across Compass Associates, Carrot Life Sciences, Consult, Compass Carter Osborne and our central CRS functions compares with the best consulting and professional services employers in the country.

Globally, the Great Place To Work® survey is the largest and most recognised survey of workplace cultures and people practices. The methodology behind our various Best Workplaces™ lists is one of the most rigorous and highly sought after, and is widely regarded as the ‘gold standard’ of employer awards. Being included on this list is therefore not simply an accolade; it is independent, benchmarked confirmation that the experience our people described in their feedback stands up against the wider industry.

What makes this achievement so meaningful is that it reinforces our belief that great businesses are built by great people, and great people thrive in cultures where they feel trusted, valued, supported and empowered to succeed. Across every brand in our group, from those supporting healthcare and social care providers, to life sciences and pharmaceutical organisations, to executive search clients, our teams are united by a shared commitment to excellence, collaboration and making a genuine impact through the work they do.

Group People Director, Liza Gamblin commented, “I’m incredibly proud that CRS has made the list of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ in Consulting & Professional Services, but even more so of the people and teams behind it. For me, what makes this particularly special is that this recognition comes directly from our people. We can talk about culture, values and what makes CRS a great place to work, but it’s our teams who bring that to life every single day.

It’s the relationships, the support, the ambition, the energy, the laughter and the personality that make CRS what it is. We work hard, we have high standards, but we also want people to enjoy where they work and feel proud to be part of the team.

Making the list is something we should genuinely celebrate. It’s recognition of the culture we’ve created together and the people who make CRS such a great place to work. There’s always more we can do, and we’ll continue to listen to our people and take their feedback seriously. But today is about celebrating this achievement and, most importantly, celebrating everyone who made it possible.

A huge thank you to everyone across CRS who has played a part in making this happen. We should be incredibly proud of what we’ve created together.

Receiving this accolade is a proud milestone for our group of companies as we continue to grow in this space. More importantly, it reinforces our ambition to be recognised not only as a leading recruitment group within our markets, but as a genuine employer of choice, a place where exceptional people choose to join, stay and thrive.

We look forward to appearing in the Best Workplaces magazine distributed within The Guardian newspaper on 1 October!
